I am Alessandra Lampertico, an Italian architectural artist based in Milan. I’ve been drawing for as long as I can remember, experimenting with different materials and techniques since childhood and gradually developing a deep connection to buildings and everyday architecture.

Although I never attended art school, my practice is entirely self-taught and shaped by years of observation, experimentation, and constant drawing. Over time, my focus naturally shifted toward architectural subjects — homes, historic buildings, shops, and cafés — approached not just as structures, but as places filled with character and lived-in stories.

My work combines detailed pen drawings with watercolor, balancing precision and softness. I am particularly drawn to architectural details, textures, and façades, and I aim to capture both the structure of a building and its atmosphere. Each piece is created entirely by hand and developed as a one-of-a-kind artwork.

Today, I work independently from my studio in Milan, creating original works and accepting a limited number of private commissions. My goal is to create architectural portraits that feel personal, timeless, and quietly expressive.

How often do you open commission requests?

I will open commission requests 3-4 times throughout the year. Please subscribe to my newsletter and social media channels to stay in the loop on opening dates.
What is your turn around time?

My turnaround time varies throughout the year and I typically book about 2–3 months in advance.
What should I provide for reference?

In the commission request form, there is a section where you can upload a clear photo of the building from the angle you’d like painted. You’re also welcome to include additional reference photos for details or small personal touches you’d like to add.
Do you ship internationally?

Yes! There is an international shipping fee depending on the shipping destination.
When will I get my order?

I’ll begin working on your order as soon as full payment is received and will complete it as quickly as possible. Once your artwork has shipped, you’ll receive an email with tracking and further details. Delivery times vary depending on your location.
What type of payment do you accept?

Once we finalize the details of your commission, I’ll send you a Stripe payment link for the full amount. Payment is required in full before I begin working on your artwork. Stripe also offers installment options, depending on availability. After payment is completed, I’ll issue the invoice and begin creating your piece.
How much does shipping cost?

Shipping is calculated based on your location. I’ll confirm the shipping cost once your country has been provided.
Can you draw people or pets?

At this time, I do not offer portraits of people or pets, as my focus and specialty lie in architectural art. I prefer to work within my strengths in order to create pieces where I can deliver my best work.

That said, I’m happy to incorporate subtle personal elements into your artwork, such as a pet’s name on a sign, an anniversary date, or small symbolic details meaningful to you. This approach allows me to stay true to my artistic style while adding a thoughtful, personal touch to each piece.
